A special Christmas date for you and your mini. 🤍

Slow down together and create something you’ll bring out every Christmas for years to come.

In this festive Mumma + Mini workshop, you’ll each design and hand-build your own ceramic Christmas dish from clay. Create a special plate for Santa’s treats, a serving dish for the Christmas table, or something completely unique to your family.

You’ll shape your dishes by hand before making them your own with colour, patterns, names, Christmas messages and festive details.

No pottery experience is needed, we’ll guide you both through each step, with plenty of room to get creative and enjoy making together.

Once finished, your pieces will be glazed and fired at Clay Space, ready to take home and become part of your family’s Christmas traditions.

All clay, materials, glazing and firing are included. 

Workshop Details

• Suitable for ages 6+
• Approximately 2 hours
• Includes all tools, clay, glazing and two kiln firings
• Your pieces will be glazed in a clear glaze
  
• Your finished pieces will be ready for collection in approximately 6 weeks, We'll email you as soon as it's ready.

What to bring

Just yourself and your mini! Please wear comfortable clothing that you don't mind getting a little messy. We also recommend keeping your fingernails short for the workshop. 

This is a chance to slow down with your mini, spend some quality time together, get creative and enjoy the pleasure of making something by hand.

Booking & Cancellation Policy

Spaces are limited and bookings are essential. Bookings are non-refundable, however you are able to transfer your booking to another person if you cannot attend. Please let us know their details before the workshop.

Workshops require a minimum number of participants to run. If Clay Space needs to cancel or reschedule a workshop due to low numbers or unforeseen circumstances, you will be offered a choice of a full refund or a transfer to another workshop date.

Photos & Videos

One of my favourite parts of running Clay Space is capturing the creativity that happens in the studio. I may take photos or videos during workshops to share on my website and or social media. 

If you would rather not be included in any photos or videos, simply let me know before the workshop starts. Your privacy will always be respected.

The Nature of Handmade Ceramics

Ceramics is a handmade process and, while every care is taken, there are times when pieces may crack, warp or become damaged during drying, gazing or firing. These are natural risks or working with clay and are often beyond anyone's control.

By booking a workshop, you acknowledge and accept these risks. Refund, credits or replacements cannot be offered for pieces that are damaged or do not survive the ceramic process.

Above all, Clay Space is about slowing down, enjoying the creative process, and embracing the beauty of handmade ceramics. Every piece tells its own story, and every workshop is about learning, creating and having fun.
