Make a Christmas Dish & 3 Christmas Tree Decorations 🎄

A little Christmas tradition, handmade by them. 🤍 Each child will create three special ceramic keepsakes- their own Christmas dish plus 3 Christmas tree decorations.

In this special kids’ Christmas workshop, children will design and make their very own ceramic Christmas dish from clay. They will then make and decorate their very own Christmas Tree decorations.

They might create a special plate for Santa’s cookies and treats, a dish for the Christmas table, or something completely unique to bring out every December. Or a present for the grandparents?

They’ll shape their dish by hand before making it their own with COLOUR, patterns, festive details, their name or a special Christmas message.

We’ll guide them through each step, so no pottery experience is needed, just lots of imagination!

Once finished, each piece will be glazed and fired at Clay Space, ready to take home and treasure as part of your family’s Christmas for years to come.

Perfect for little hands, big imaginations and creating something they’ll be proud to bring out every Christmas. 🎅🏼🎄

All clay, materials, glazing and firing are included.

Workshop Details

• Suitable for ages 6-8yrs
• Approximately 2 hours
• Includes all tools, clay, glazing and two kiln firings
• It will be glazed in a clear glaze
  
• The finished pieces will be ready for collection in approximately 6 weeks, We'll email you as soon as it's ready.

What to bring

Just yourself (Child). Please make sure they are wearing comfortable clothing that you don't mind getting a little messy. We also recommend keeping fingernails short for the workshop. 

This is their chance to slow down, get creative and enjoy the pleasure of making something by hand.

Parents and caregivers are not required to stay during the workshop. However you're more than welcome to stay and relax in the studio while your child creates. There is also an option for you to do the workshop with your mini, please just send me a message.

 If your child has any medical conditions or any additional needs that you would like us to be aware of, please let us know before the workshop so we can support them. 

Booking & Cancellation Policy

Spaces are limited and bookings are essential. Bookings are non-refundable, however you are able to transfer your booking to another person if you cannot attend. Please let us know their details before the workshop.

Workshops require a minimum number of participants to run. If Clay Space needs to cancel or reschedule a workshop due to low numbers or unforeseen circumstances, you will be offered a choice of a full refund or a transfer to another workshop date.

Photos & Videos

One of my favourite parts of running Clay Space is capturing the creativity that happens in the studio. I may take photos or videos during workshops to share on my website and or social media. 

If you don't want your child in any photos or videos, simply let me know before the workshop starts. Your privacy will always be respected.

The Nature of Handmade Ceramics

Ceramics is a handmade process and, while every care is taken, there are times when pieces may crack, warp or become damaged during drying, gazing or firing. These are natural risks or working with clay and are often beyond anyone's control.

By booking a workshop, you acknowledge and accept these risks. Refund, credits or replacements cannot be offered for pieces that are damaged or do not survive the ceramic process.

Above all, Clay Space is about slowing down, enjoying the creative process, and embracing the beauty of handmade ceramics. Every piece tells its own story, and every workshop is about learning, creating and having fun.
